No Surprises is a half-day Midwest music, comedy, and vendor showcase and $500 Spades tournament benefitting Care Beyond the Boulevard (CBB). Greater Kansas City’s un- and underinsured rely on the free, vital mobile healthcare services CBB provides.
 
Emceed by comedian Aaron Scarbrough, No Surprises is a spotlight on who’s next in the region’s stacked indie and alternative music scenes, featuring Social Cinema (LNK/ICT), Rat Tally (CHI), Grady Drugg (SGF), Hot Joy (STL), Brian Gerald Bulger (KC), Modeling (NWArk), and Teri Quinn & The Coyotes (KC).
In addition, a $500 Spades tournament is an homage to the season and gathering with friends and families and to the amounts of downtime touring bands have on the road while chasing it down. One skillful pair will walk away with some padding for the holidays.
 
Come support local vendors and contribute to Care Beyond the Boulevard’s cause while discovering the Midwest’s next stars on December 6 at Kansas City’s hottest venue, Warehouse on Broadway, sponsored by Sinse Cannabis, Swade Dispensaries, and Hey Loudspeaker.
 

Warehouse on Broadway is Kansas City’s newest 700 capacity music venue featuring Super Awesome Events & Killer F*ing Food. Located in the Westport neighborhood, one of Kansas City’s premiere bar districts. Our venue is your venue, as we all gather to celebrate extraordinary experiences with the finest local, regional, and national artists the universe has to offer.

Our restaurant is open Monday to Saturday, 5p-1a. Entrance to the venue is located on the north side of the building, and is ADA accessible.
